Hearbreak

You never forget your first heartbreak. It leaves an imprint on your soul. The feeling can sneak up on you at any moment. Triggered by the smallest scene. It's a squeeze on the heart and a flash from the past, it can never be forgotten, only forgiven. You can learn from it and grow. But your heart will always know that it opened up a window to your soul and let in a feeling of vulnerability. It will make it hard on the next, for walls will be put up but you have to trust your gut and let yourself be vulnerable again.
